Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026. Name 100 Challenge is a free browser-based quiz. This page explains what we collect and what we don't.
What we don't collect
- No accounts. No email, no password, no signup of any kind.
- No tracking pixels. We don't run ad trackers or social-media pixels.
- No sale of data. We have nothing to sell, and we sell nothing.
What stays in your browser
Your answers, best scores, leaderboard nickname, daily streak, and dungeon progress live in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently — we can't recover them because we never see them.
What reaches our servers
- Scores: when you finish a qualifying game (3+ answers, 10+ seconds), your score, optional nickname, time used, and coarse country (from a one-time IP geolocation lookup, cached in your browser forever) are posted to our leaderboard database (Supabase, EU/US regions).
- Wall posts & feedback: messages you explicitly post to the fan wall, or send through the feedback button, are stored (wall) or emailed to us (feedback).
- Lookup calls: answer verification and fact cards query public APIs (Wikidata, Wikipedia) from your browser — those services see the query, not you.
Cookies
We don't set cookies. All preferences use localStorage, which never leaves your device.
Google and advertising
If we enable advertising in the future, third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers to serve ads on this site based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your browsing. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
